Disclaimer: I’m late on the Grass farming hype but once I saw the premarket price on whales market regarding grass points, FOMO kicked in so I asked people around what they do to farm. Also, according to the discord server of Grass, VPN and Proxies are not allowed. So if you try and run Grass on a VPS alone, you will get 0% network or 0 points for running the app. However, on the troubleshooting guide on discord, one way to solve this is by using a RESIDENTIAL PROXY. So I used this on my VPS and I started getting points. Now I’m sure if they have a way to flag accounts who’s using residential proxies or not, but for me, as long as you are earning points, then you should be ok. So use this guide at your own risk or keep the costs to a minimum (just enough so you won’t feel bad spending incase you got flagged)

STEP 1: Register an account on Grass
You will use this account every time we login on the Grass extension on our vps. What this does is basically, every chrome tab you open registers under your account. And every chrome tab gets their points on a daily basis. So the more accounts = the higher the points you get per day.
A network score of 100% gets you around 2400 points per day, 75% gets less, and 0% gets 0. So this is the reason why even if you are late farming grass, as long as you have multiple accounts, and TGE is not anytime soon, this method of farming should be worth the airdrop (as long as you dont get flagged ofc).

STEP 2: Get a VPS.
In my case, I’m using HYONIX VPS, this is just a preference since this is the only VPS I have tried and I’m kinda used to how to navigate around it. There are also guide on the site itself on how to setup the account or you can just click on this link.
Again, if you have other VPS, you can use them. But for the sake of this guide, I will be using screenshot found on Hyonix.
For specs, I’m using VPS located on Virginia, and an 8GB ram server. The HIGHER the RAM the BETTER. But there’s so much demand on Hyonix servers that most of the time, the higher ram packages are sold out. They refresh every few hrs, just keep monitoring them but usually, the highest package available is 8GB ram so you can just buy multiple servers. Doesn’t matter since the pricing is linear, for example, 4GB ram server = $12, 8GB ram = $24 and so on.

Step 3: Download the necessary extensions
For running grass, we only need two extensions:First is the Grass app. You can see the Chrome extension on the website thru getgrass.io or by clicking this link or using the link on the caption. At the time of this posting, the extension has around 4.5 star rating with 3.6k ratings.

Second is the BP Proxy switcher. This is the extension I’m using to switch the IP of the chrome tab that is currently on, to the residential IP we will be buying later. Link is here or see the caption. At the time of this posting, it has 3.8 stars with 30 ratings and 100,000 users. If you have other extensions that does the same thing, feel free to use them.

Step 4: Buy Residential Proxies.
4/01: UPDATE. DONT USE RESI PROXY PROVIDER BELOW. I THINK THEY FLAGGED IT OR SOMETHING SINCE ITS NO LONGER WORKING ATM. TRY TO FIND A DIFFERENT PROVIDER BUT THE SETUP IS STILL THE SAME.
There are several proxy providers like bull proxies, space proxies, etc, so if you already have one, feel free to test with those. What is important is you are using a RESIDENTIAL PROXY. For me, I am using IPRoyal which can be found here on this link or in the caption below. What you are purchasing is the data in GB. Basically you can generate unlimited number of Residential IPs, but is limited on the data usage based on what you purchased.

So for example, I bought an 8gb data IPRoyal. Say I’m running 200 IPs under my grass account, as long as you have available data, you can still add more accounts. Once 8gb data is consumed (or just wanna buy more data), you can just buy data again using the same way you purchased. So if I bought another 4gb data, the dashboard will show that you now have 12gb of data.
On this website, the proxy costs around $2 per GB

Step 5: We can now start running the grass app
Generate IP on the Killerproxies site where we bought IPRoyal. Set Type = Sticky, Country to whatever country you like. This is trial and error since other countries shows 0% network, you just find which country works for you. In this example we start at US since our VPS is located in the US. Copy the IP and paste on BP Proxy on the next step.

On BP proxy extension, Under DELETE tab, uncheck all boxes. See below and click OK.

Click the edit button under Proxy, and paste the IP generated above (1 IP per chrome profile). Then Click OK.

You should now see your proxy under the drop down window. Click to run it.

Now you should be connected to the residential IP you set, you can verify this by checking sites to check IP (ex. whatsmyip, ip2location, etc. and you should see that the location shows the same location as your generated IP)
Next, we login the account we created on step 1 on the grass app. Click Login, this will open the app.getgrass.io site where you will login you account.

Once logged in, you should see that you are logged in on the DASHBOARD and on the GRASS EXTENSION. Now this is the important part, since Grass UI is most of the time buggy, the most important thing to know that you are running and earning points is THRU GRASS EXTENSION on Chrome. As long as Network quality is not 0%, YOU SHOULD BE GOOD. Around 75% - 100% is fine, 100% is best ofc. Congratulations you are now earning Grass points which will be reflected on the dashboard.

You can now close your chrome profile, the extension will keep running on the background. You can verify that by clicking on the chrome icon under the status bar, and you will see the your chrome profile running even if the Tab is closed.

STEP 6: Create another Chrome profile and do the repeat the same steps again. You can do as many as your RAM can handle. This is the reason why I stated on Step 1 that the higher the ram the better for your VPS.
For troubleshooting
If you keep getting disconnected, know that extension tries to reconnect by its own or you can the 3 dots on the upper right to reconnect on your own.
Also, you can click Logout and relogin to see if it would work. But the goal here will always be to see Network quality = 75-100% on the grass extension.
If incase after several relogin/reconnect you still cant manage to connect the grass extension, its either the UI is bugging or your IP cannot connect, in this case, just use another IP (since we can generate unlimited amounts of IP as long as you have data available).
IMPORTANT: If for example you are using US IP, and you can’t manage to get your extension working, just create another chrome profile and do the same things again, BUT THIS TIME, create an IP under a different COUNTRY. Again, this is trial and error, just try and check which country will make your extension work. If it does work, just generate another IP under the same country until it stops working. Then generate another IP under a different country.
I am not sure what the reason behind this is, but this doesn’t mean the Country was banned, you can try again the US IP maybe after a day and see that it is working again (this is based on my experience).
