Everything started with seeing the CryptoPunks for the first time and loving what we saw, then came the bigger question: WHAT IS NFT? We(Farshad.eth and Scinftist.eth) asked ourselves this question on the night of November 2020, and then our journey began…

After dueling on the purpose of our project and mixing all the ideas with the environmental concerns we had, we found our answer in creating something for Christmas.

It took us two weeks to find a meaningful idea to work on, no one imagined the hardships and challenges that laid ahead of us.

Back then there was little content for new creators on how to make the technical side of the job easy but we did our best and there it was our first NFT project:

Xmasbook V0 is a beautiful art piece with all the well-known landmarks and celebrities telling the audience the story of their own unique night of Christmas.

We did everything right and our hopes were high like nothing wrong can happen.

But we missed other important aspects of a successful NFT project; the time that should've been spent on community and the utility of the project wasn’t enough to make everyone see what we’ve got.

This alone was the problem that we weren’t ready for. But the miracle happened in the middle of August 2021 someone named @Jill.eth purchased one of the NFTs and hopefulness was once again the savior for our team.

It was like the light of possibilities dawned on us to try again and do better. So we did. This time we took on-chain storytelling features and joined hands with a real-life artist named: panahi.eth, who hand drew each and every element using the water-coloring technique. Each NFT is a picture generated from mixing these beautiful elements. This project is the fourth (NFT project deployed on) the optimism chain.

The stories, the resolution of each NFT, and the purpose we had for our project are all things we are proud of.

We loved the journey we went so far even though the profits and gains were not that much, but the community welcomed us and this made us happy.

We enjoyed the great feedback we got and the love and support that the community showed us was the reason to make the hard work we’ve done absolutely worth it.

So we wanted to give them something extra. Something extra with different types of art to appreciate.

We wanted our amazing NFT holders to be transported to another world and enjoy another viewpoint from the universe with a friend guiding them. Owly-alien is a cute and wise friend to all story readers.

And in March 2022 SpaceHook.eth was born. With each project, we grew organically. Along the way, we dreamt of making it possible for the community to create their own XmasBook NFTs (i.e., designing an engine to let others create).

After all of this hard work and being surprised by the possibilities of the technical side of the NFT technology, we didn’t gain any life-changing profits.

And that is not why we are here so it never stopped us. And it never will. So we expanded our team and Farzadex.eth joined us and helped us exceed in the technical side tremendously.

So this year we are making our Dream come true to thank you and let you thank anyone you appreciate in the web3-based way, and Xmasbook2023 is the result of that dream and hard work:

A place to be entertained by awesome ways to mix and create new XmasBook NFTs based on what elements you desire to have or not have and then write yourself and others a paragraph that’ll live forever on the chain and will be remembered forever.
