The overall work is named "Physical World," and it consists of two sub-works: "Matter" and “Life."
The work comes from a real-world stone and a leaf, and we have faithfully recreated them in the virtual world, down to every detail.
Matter：It originates from a small stream in the Zhongnan Mountains, where the constant flow of water has shaped its form. It hasn't undergone any human carving or manipulation, nor does it stem from human logic and experience, or any intricate "algorithmic" process. Every inch of its proportions, size, and form are derived from the creations of nature, making it a product of Mother Nature herself.
Life：Similarly, it comes from ZhongNan Mountain. Just as the philosophy says, "A single leaf contains the information of the entire universe," it is the memory of the whole cosmos. Each of its textures captures the essence of real life forms, and every detail represents the code of life itself.
With Matter and Life, one possesses the entirety of the universe.
The development of AI technology and virtual networks is inevitable. If, and of course it's a big if, one day, humanity becomes lost in the virtual world, these two elements will awaken our memories of the physical world.
Because they are real, vivid, and do not conform to any artificial logic and algorithms, only the real natural world can create such masterpieces.
Each proportion, form, size, and curvature of it will become a sound that awakens human memory of the physical world and opens the password to the gateway of the physical world.
Here, we make a playful and not a serious “prophecy." If one day, humanity becomes lost in the virtual world, at that moment, a person will emerge. He possesses both Matter and Life at the same time. Moreover, he will unravel the mysteries of the physical world, awaken humanity's memories of the physical world, and unlock the gateway to the physical world. He will guide those lost in the virtual world towards liberation, bringing light and well-being to all of humanity.
Of course, this is just a joke and doesn't hold the significance of a real prophecy. We hope that day will never come, and we wish this "prophecy" will never come true either.
Let's view it as a work of art after all. In the virtual world，It might be the only thing from the physical world so far.
