JAN 2023
MISSION: Grow the brand, expand the footprint
OBJECTIVE 1: Complete a connection with planned follow-up
OBJECTIVE 2: Continue to self-organize
Did everyone have a rough start to 2023? Join the club or mock from afar because that’s a common story. Let’s reset and refocus. The month is already nearly over.
January saw a monumental step in the progress of the Operation. The goal was to keep momentum from Basel and let that force fuel next steps, and guess what??? IT DID. We’ve submitted a proposal to Lens.xyz, one of the relationships we established at Basel. The small step is major in its implications. Generating “artifacts” produces more established documentation we can share and resources we can distribute. Things like proposals are a pain to write, so it’s fantastic that we can write one, have it reviewed, and then turn around and reuse it with some minor or major revision.
We have not stopped building new partnerships. In one of our recent meetings, our new relationships proved a solid support structure for staying focused. There we all were, talking, sharing experiences. It doesn’t happen often, probably to keep from focusing on too much struggle, but it was timely. Do yourself a favor and talk to your friends, family, pets, or plants. It’s healthy. Heck, talk to yourself! Sometimes, it’s the only intelligent conversation you can find.
A developer/singer/songwriter who has been a musician for 21 years is creating music to express his battle with PTSD and to share his trauma and experiences in a way that can be beneficial to others who listen along the way. Building a legacy and fighting to create a secure and enjoyable experience that people of all backgrounds can come together to enjoy for the pure energy that creativity is we all do our best to harness into our craft. As a founder of an ever-growing web3 development agency; ZATHENA VENTURE, LLC and their NFT project “Lions of Zathena”, there are constantly new things to keep an eye out on that are being developed such as the upcoming 3 track EP releasing next month titled “Down” with some development integration that hasn’t been seen yet in the web3 music space!

Next let’s take a moment to share the Spotlight with Musician Updates
Here are words we want to highlight from the wise: Listening to the Voices of Generals
Pragmatic (Atlanta, GA)
Continue the focus on web3 education
Create something that supports, like educational materials, as a way to get involved
Visual tools make impact
Regarding partnerships, support roles are appreciated. Look to support the arts or their medium. Align your mission with their mission. Demonstrate that you understand what they want, almost as if it's the same thing you want.
Chase (Atlanta, GA)
Tentative meeting was 1/13; updates to come
Looking at finalized dates and execution
Make YouniFest relevant for the local artist in ATL; have impact for ATL.
Give a benefit to the local artist
Enhance the culture of the local community
MR. MUZIX (Nashville, TN)
Remember that opportunities to support are local AND virtual
Provide opportunities to celebrate independent artistry
Mavi (Richmond, VA)
Value should be symbiotic
Consider the “value exchange” (what each gets vs. what they give), keep the ask simple, but with their interest in mind
Sponsor/Partner Updates
We are in conversation with a couple of potential sponsorships
WHY THAT MATTERS: It’s ‘free’ money, while also validation that we are moving in the right direction. It’s proof that local artists ARE underserved and overlooked in the entertainment megamachine and that something must be done! And we can do that with resources from supporters. It becomes our obligation to make effective use of every resource and each opportunity that presents itself. What opportunities are available?
