What is keeping you motivated?

My motivation is Nick Vujcic.Nick Vujcic is an Australian motivational speaker, philanthropist, writer, and singer. Despite his tetraamelia syndrome (a rare hereditary disease that results in the absence of all four limbs), he was able to become one of the most amazing personalities of modern society.

Nicholas (Nick) James Vujcic was born on December 4, 1982, to a family of Serbian immigrants. The newborn lacked arms and legs, had only a partially formed foot with two fused toes, which were later separated by surgeons. Thanks to this appendix, the boy learned to move around, swim, surf and skateboard, write, and mastered the computer.

Life difficulties and personal development Despite his physical disabilities, Nick was perfectly healthy. For a while he attended a school for the disabled, but then he began to study with regular children. The boy was often the object of ridicule, so at the age of ten he decided to commit suicide. He was stopped by thoughts of his loving parents.

After high school, the boy graduated from Griffith University (Brisbane) with a double bachelor's degree in commerce in accounting and financial planning. Beginning in 1999, Vujcic began speaking to audiences in churches, prisons, and educational institutions. He soon opened Life Without Limbs, a nonprofit charity that helps people with disabilities around the world.

Creative Abilities Having coped with his disabilities, Nick discovered many talents in himself. He plays sports, makes movies, composes songs, and writes books:

"Life Without Limits. The Way to a Fabulously Happy Life." "Limitlessness. 50 Lessons That Will Make You Outrageously Happy." "Be Strong. You Can Overcome Violence (and Everything That Prevents You from Living)" and others. The philanthropist now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and four children. He is often invited to appear on TV shows.
