My Thrilling Dive into Rotten Mango

In a world overflowing with podcasts of all genres, "Rotten Mango" has become my recent obsession in the world of true crime. On a weekly basis, my hour and a half car ride to university is filled with gruesome, bone-chilling events. It all began with an episode titled "The Twisted Life of Jeffrey Dahmer." I was immediately drawn by the compelling narrative of the episode as it revealed the disturbing aspects of the serial killer.

Stephanie Soo, the host, has a bubbly voice and intriguing tone that guide me through the complexities of each episode while at times giving me the creeps. With each new piece of information, I find myself getting sucked deeper and deeper into the maze of facts, motives, and suspects that Soo has meticulously put together.

Stephanie Soo portrays the people involved, including the victims, their families, the investigators, and even the criminals, in a way that is more than just retelling a crime; it is about bringing to life the stories hidden behind the headlines and revealing the raw emotions that lay beneath.

I think that true crime podcasts are remarkable at engrossing listeners in both the horrifying details of a case and the complex psychology of human behavior. I highly recommend listening to the true crime podcast “Rotten Mango.”  Be ready to be intrigued, to have your own assumptions challenged, and to acknowledge the significant impact that these stories may have on how we perceive the world around us.
