Announcing the first ever $00 tipping grant

We are very proud to announce the first ever $00 token tipping grant, awarded to the $BONSAI community. The top 500 $BONSAI holders will be able to tip 100 $00 / day on Lens for a month starting April 30th, 2024. For the duration of the grant, $00 tips will be automatically matched 1-1 with $BONSAI airdrops.

$BONSAI and $00

Since launching a few weeks ago, $BONSAI has quickly become the reference community coin on Lens. Daily, Lens creators get paid for their content with $BONSAI and are able te generate revenue via their content. $BONSAI has quickly risen to more than 10k on-chain holders and a full diluted valuation of $30m.

$00 was incubated and launched by P00LS as the currency for creativity: distributed by on-chain creators to on-chain creators as a reward for their creative work and content. $00 is listed on Coinbase at a fully diluted valuation of $100m and is held by more than 40k wallets on chain.

  • Recipients: Top 500 $BONSAI holders with a Lens account (contracts excluded)

  • Tipping Allowance: 100 $00 / day

  • Max $00 token amount distributed through grant: 1,500,000 $00 token

  • Start date: 5/1/2024

  • End date: 5/31/024

  • Recipients snapshot date: Monday April 29th, 2024 12.30pm Eastern Time

In addition the $BONSAI community will double any $00 tip on Lens with $BONSAI at a 1-1 ratio for the duration of the grant (at a maximum of 100k $BONSAI / day)

How to tip $00?

In order to tip $00, you need to have a tipping allowance. As part of the grant, top 500 $BONSAI holders have a tipping allowance of 100 $00 per day. You can request a tipping allowance here.

Once you have a tipping allowance, all you have to do is comment under a post you’d like to tip with “x $00” - x being the number of $00 tokens you’d like to tip. See an example.

How to receive a tip $00?

Once you’ve been tipped on Lens, there’s nothing you need to do! Your $00 tokens will be airdropped directly to your wallet.
