Why we need a composable NFT standard?

A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is used to identify something or someone in a unique way. This type of token is perfect to represent ownership over digital or physical assets, which leads to unlimited use cases. The ERC-721 introduces an acknowledged standard for NFT, which enables NFT to be owned and transacted by individuals or consigned to a third party.

In theory, NFTs are uniquely flexible because they can be made to represent anything. However, the reality is that most NFTs are created and used in a very primary way, usually as the ownership of some colorful JPEGs or membership of a walled community.

We think NFTs, like all things in the real world, should be composable. That means an NFT is an amalgamation of parts, which also should be NFTs; each has some pre-designed rules for how they come together, just like atoms bond to other atoms in specific ways. Atoms come together to form larger arrays of particles, which create chemical compounds. In the range of NFTs, for example, a one-year membership of a gym could embed 52 one-week memberships. Furthermore, a single Space Doodle should amalgamate a brand-new spaceship NFT and an original doodle NFT.

Let's talk about what it will bring! For the creator, the composable NFT will provide a foundation for more business scenarios. For collectors, the composable NFT will provide them with more choices of what to own or sell.

This particular type of token has unique possibilities, and it will inspire more innovations. So it deserves a proper standard, and the ERC-721c we created came to solve that, and it will be the new standard of what an NFT should be like.
