Binance said in an announcement on Aug. 28 that it will continue to serve Belgian users through Binance Poland sp. z o.o., a Polish-registered entity. According to Binance, some users may be required to submit documents under Polish rather than Belgian KYC requirements. According to previous news, in January this year, Binance registered with the Polish regulator as a virtual asset service provider. In June, Belgium’s financial regulator ordered Binance to stop providing crypto exchanges and custodial wallet services to local customers, citing violations of the country’s “anti-money laundering” and “anti-terrorist financing” requirements.
