Bar 821 Always wanted to check out this amaro bar in SF. Only problem is that it's wayyy overpriced. $16 for... a pour of Jägermeister w/ a mandatory 20% tip. That basically makes a pour the same price as buying a bottle, which is a bit much even for SF. Had their variants on a mezcal negroni ($18) and a brown butter miso fat washed manhattan. Really good! The servers were nice but seemed a bit tight lipped, felt like they weren't keen to teach amaro. Not bad, but not great, unlikely I'll be a frequent flier.
