Lately, not many things onchain have been bringing me joy. The wallet numbers, the number of users using my app - but even that mostly comes down to the dau of Farcaster itself. I don’t like the trading-focused direction of Base and everything that’s happening around it. I don’t like the empty words about “support,” and it all continues to seriously frustrate me. it makes me feel sad when I think about the future, and it’s hard to think long-term - I often feel alone in those thoughts. I see a lot of short-term opportunities, but they come at the expense of something bigger and more meaningful. I realize that I take on a lot and do a lot, but I really don’t get much of value in return. and I'll most likely have to rethink my approach to all of this, at least in part.
