i've got to witness different magnitudes of talent over time mentoring students, interns and apprentices i gotta say that individuals i trained post 2021 are so lost and stuck in a clarity loop yes you read that right, a clarity loop they know what, why and how to do, but they just cannot, and there actually is no major inconvenient reason for it they choose to live with nostalgia and unseriousness because those are the only things that eliminate stress for them this is very interesting and i don't blame them for their state of mind - when they were studying, covid hit - when they were out for jobs, ai took over this generation is pinned down by psychological factors more than material factors these kids actually perform better when needed but they wouldn't last for a day balancing everything like back in my time
