War fatigue
Last night Odesa was attacked by 49 drones.
The attacks came in several waves, each lasting 2–3 hours.
I was alone in the apartment. There was no one I needed to worry about.
So I just lay in bed and tried to sleep through the sounds of gunfire, explosions, and sirens.
It’s not that I stopped being afraid for my life.
I’m just tired…
Because it’s 5 a.m. now. In the morning I have to go to work. I need to stay focused.
I promised to take my sister to the hospital, and so on.
When the explosions hit, the building shakes and everything hums.
The only question that crosses your mind is whether they hit your building or the one next to it…
And then you drift back into a bad, shallow sleep.
The house in the photo is about 100 meters from mine.
And sadly, there are many houses like this.
