Odesa, Ukraine
A dark, gray morning in Odesa. The air is filled with the smell of burning and gunpowder, ambulance sirens echo from all directions.
The fifth year of the war - nothing new.
Russia has carried out another vile attack on the city.
More than 50 attack drones bombed the city center and residential neighborhoods.
More than a dozen residential buildings were damaged, along with a church, an educational facility, a kindergarten, and - as always, electrical substations.
In my building, the windows were blown out again by the blast wave…
Not the first time. Nothing surprising.
Some residential buildings have been completely destroyed.
People are trapped under the rubble right now.
The number of casualties is constantly being updated.
The particular cynicism of this attack lies in several direct strikes on the largest fire station in the city.
The logic is simple: destroy the rescuers, and fires and rubble become much harder to deal with -
resulting in more damage, more deaths, more suffering.
I’m not writing this to evoke pity.
My emotions have long been dulled.
Just know that this is happening here and now.
I want you to know the true face of Russia.
When someone fantasizes about peace or agreements with Russia - understand that this is impossible.
Evil must be punished
