GM! Proof of Soil! I went to the nursery this morning and bought out the rest of their steer manure and also purchased a couple bags of soil building conditioner. The steer manure acts as a slow-release fertilizer and helps suppress weeds while retaining soil moisture. The soil conditioner is composted wood mixed with composted chicken manure and beneficial mycorrhizae (fungus which grows in association with the roots of a plant in a symbiotic relationship).
