The guys from Red Bull are at it again, creating absolute madness—this time, they've set out to land a plane on a moving train.
To pull off this crazy stunt, they enlisted the help of Italian pilot Dario Costa, who already has one unusual record under his belt: nearly five years ago, he flew through two road tunnels at a speed of 245 km/h.
This time, the task was no less challenging. Due to the descent angle and the train's constant motion, Dario was essentially performing a blind landing, only seeing the container a few seconds before touchdown. To make things even harder, the train, speeding along at 120 km/h, was affecting the airflow, creating severe turbulence.
But Costa pulled it off—slowing down to 87 km/h, he landed the plane on the train, then executed a sharp vertical takeoff.
