I see people get this really wrong.
Tokens can be built by communities, but communities aren’t built by tokens.
This is the thing people have really gotten backwards.
The most powerful networks and relationships are never about money, so it’s something to deeply understand when money is involved.
Networks and communities that last are built on the strongest relationships and trust. Not money.
The way to know if a community will be really successful, is to ask this question “if all the money went away, would this community still trust and help each other?” If no, it’s not going to be a long-term valuable community.
It’s counter-intuitive to think that the most valuable relationships, the most valuable communities, are the ones not built on money.
