You can’t make people happy. But you can make them productive, and they can choose to be happy. Wise words from my friend Robert Stephens. instead of nap rooms, free lunches, and little perks here and there. I gave all of my employees their own personal assistant. I couldn’t control how my employees felt. But I could give them the tools to make them as productive as they could be. I let them use it for their personal and professional lives. And turns out, it was cheaper than free lunch and people loved it 10x more. We were able to hire military spouses as assistants to help each and every person at our company.
