<RE: Farcaster> Took a day to digest the Farcaster acquisition and read a lot of takes - some shortsighted, some thoughtful and honest. I believe this is an overwhelmingly positive outcome for Farcaster, short-term price/dau action aside, and I have full faith that the studs at Neynar are capable of fostering the right environment for the protocol to flourish. I’m grateful to Dan, V, and the entire FC team for creating the only product in crypto (along with everything it’s spawned) that’s brought me real joy over the past few years. That joy stems directly from the people I’ve met here and genuinely would call friends. So how does this relate to $runner? As the first coin ever user-clanked, Runner carries a sense of responsibility for us. It’s embedded in the fabric of Clanker and Farcaster (and Base, for that matter.) That is why we will see it through, to the best of our abilities, in the best interests of our users and the broader community. Mostly, you will find us shitposting on your timeline for the foreseeable future - but if you could take a minute and provide some earnest feedback to the post below, it is greatly valued. Base will succeed because -> Farcaster will succeed because -> Clanker will succeed because -> Runner will succeed.
