I just put $50 behind my claim:
"I'm all in favor of decentralization. That's what brought me to this space and it's why I'm still here. I'd like to learn more about Hypersnap, and ideally I'd like to expedite the decentralization of Farcaster. I do feel that uncomfortable tension when a web3 "protocol" is essentially controlled by a single company.
That being said, the timing of this fork debate is really unfortunate. The Neynar acquisition is a pivotal moment in Farcaster's history, and I felt it had the potential to be a catalyst for builders like me. But builders like me need users, and users need a sense stability. So right now I can't be in favor of anything that helps perpetuate the "Farcaster is dying" narrative, and I feel like forking at this delicate moment does just that."
Do you agree? Put your money where your mouth is.
