One of the many problems with social media is the missing economic cost of adding noise to the system. Most users don't have any skin in the game when they use social media, so it's hard to tell who really believes in what they're saying.
With my new mini-app, I'm trying to experiment in public with a new social primitive that measures conviction as a function of time-weighted capital, called the belief curve. I expect this to be the first of many iterations.
