Am I cooked, chat? 😰
What used to be published is not found, even tho it's still available in my dashboard and republishing didn't work. Also, did someone get access to my account? Hiding mine and published article without my permission? Can't delete the test post from my end.
What happened to my account? @paragraph@colin
I tried a month-long experiment forcing myself to be productive every day. Each day got a title, “August 1, make it count” and so on. The idea came from needing direct change after other approaches failed to address productivity issues beyond normal procrastination.
My longest streak hit 17 days before I crashed, asking “What am I even doing this for?” Despite clear goals and discipline, the rigid daily requirements seemed to cause burnout.
The interesting discovery: activities I thought were procrastination weren't. Daily language practice and community engagement felt unproductive but turned out to be essential skill rebuilding during my career transition.
Main takeaway, I can sustain effort, but only when my system allows flexibility instead of rigid structure. The 17-day streak proved I can show up daily while showing that overly strict approaches eventually break.
This shifted how I think about preparation versus action. Sometimes apparent downtime serves necessary purposes.
Last day of my experimental daily enforced productivity. It isn't going in the direction I hoped for towards the end of the month; some external forces really can't be tamed, but I still have to balance my internal compass. I'm going to be fluid and stay afloat for now. We'll see what happens after the first week of next month 🇮🇩
