About two years ago, we dove headfirst into building the next generation of decentralized social networks with tons of passion. We built in the Farcaster ecosystem, creating the largest Chinese-language client. But gradually, Farcaster shifted from an open protocol to a closed client, and now it's outright pivoted into a wallet app. Gotta say, the drama in this story is unreal—so, goodbye.
This journey was still a solid experience; I learned valuable lessons, even though it cost me several million dollars in "tuition."
