Watching for the slow creep of markdown becoming a first class format for document tools everywhere. As AI becomes a dominant part of everyone's workflow, it's just going to be inescapably convenient. If you aren't aware, LLMs essentially speak markdown. It will either be added to those apps or people will migrate to other tools. I'm doing so much more in Obsidian.md now than note taking.
Vibe coding is both transformative and absolutely terrifying. You move so far so fast, but with each step forward, you can't help but worry that the ground you've covered might vanish or become blocked by your very progress. It's like navigating a maze that reshapes itself as you move through it.
Why are we still optimizing hammers when AI lets us skip straight to hanging the picture? Winners are returning to first principles and asking "What problem are we really solving?" No to AI features. Yes to reimagining what's possible without historical constraints.

Sincere question for Trump voters… Are you happy with how things are going? Is this what you wanted?
My feeds feature a lot of anecdotes of Trump voters shocked he is doing what he said he would but I don’t know if that’s just the algo giving me what I want. So, is this how we get great again?
Taking the LIRR to JFK for the first time. The fact that they have full signage for an outbound side and an inbound side but seem to still have trains come either side for both directions is so fucking New York.
Fast fashion meets software: AI enables rapid, disposable apps tailored to niche needs. From workout timers to Chutes & Ladders spinners, bespoke solutions are now accessible to everyone. While true software engineering remains complex, AI empowers individuals to create artisanal apps for personal use. Expect a surge of niche tools improving everyday experiences. What have you built lately?
Fast fashion has come to software. I built a workout timer months back for 20 min body weight workouts while we were at an Airbnb this summer. This morning, I had Claude whip up a web app for a spinner to play Chutes & Ladders with my son. Disposable, bespoke apps for all.
AI isn't killing product management - it's eliminating the busywork. While document creation becomes trivial, the strategic work of connecting today's activities to customers' desired future becomes more crucial than ever. This "death" might just birth something better.

This encapsulates why it’s so hard to build in crypto. Zeneca is at least in touch with what he truly wants. Most people really think they are into the art, the innovation, the decentralization, etc but they just chase what’s pumping.
Left: A toss-up. We’re hoping our VP, a former DA and congressperson, pulls through, but it’s beyond our control.
Right: This is ours. If our sexual assault perpetrator, Nazi-endorsed ex-president with multiple convictions loses, we’ll burn this country down.
I don’t need to tell people on the internet they are wrong. I don’t need to tell people on the internet they are wrong. I don’t need to tell people on the internet… 🧘🏽♂️
As a datapoint on prediction markets, they don't sell truth. They have basic incentives and as long as you care more about projecting a certain truth than you do safeguarding your capital, you can make it say what you want. Or maybe you believe that projecting the truth will make it the truth. 🤷♂️ I guess we'll know in a few days. https://www.wsj.com/finance/betting-election-pro-trump-ad74aa71
Excited for large language models to bring natural language processing to search. I have to imagine a lot of the obstacle to having more advanced search of your photos for example is the UX. The more complicated the query you enable, the more arcane the query language has to get. Most people aren't going to bother to learn it so it doesn't make sense to build. An LLM can effectively parse your word vomit into a query it can then execute on.
