The one in the right has slid forward slightly over winter (it’s a massive 14x12 hive), and they seem to be quite happy with their new entrance! 🐝🐝🐝

They’ve been chopping back the orchard, and we thought we’d take a little detour out into the field with the sunshine. Sweep was tentative, but enjoyed going somewhere slightly different/adjacent to where we usually walk!

🐝The Bees are out of hibernation… hopefully not too soon. 🐝
I didn’t take any honey from them last year as an experiment to see how much a full yield helped the colony. 🍯🍯🍯
