We're having a white Christmas after all!! A neighbour invited me for a simple dinner and then we had a cozy evening watching Tokyo Godfathers and crafting. I'm walking back home through the snowy wonderland, and life feels so perfect... Merry Christmas everyone 🎄

Judging by my camera roll the last time I saw the sun was on November 23rd and I just realised how much I miss it already 🥺 It was such an incredibly radiant day too!

I've been working through my existential crisis lately and apparently my psyche decided it's done enough and it's time to dive deep into the comfort zone. For me this means a musical theatre rabbit hole. It crept up innocuously - with an old friend, Chicago. I stumbled onto We Both Reached for the Gun video one day and had to compare all the versions (the Korean ones are so good!). Then a song from Heathers snuck into my Spotify playlist. Huh, didn't know there was a Heathers musical... Oh boy, I didn't know what I was getting into. Got to rewatch the movie first. Then came the West end proshot, and it was love at first sight. Then I had to see all the Candy Store and Dead Girl Walking versions YouTube carries. Then I finally gave in and watched the OG off-Broadway bootleg, and felt complete. Dogs woke me up at 8 am sharp today. I guess they wanted me to see the sunrise, and I'm not mad cause it was marvellous 🥹

What do you see? - p. 6 We're going into winter so it's time to bring back this series - I guess it's easier to focus on the interesting details when nature is not vibrant and lush 😅 I think it's a meeting between two monks - Buddhist and orthodox. What do you see?

This crop top has been in my wardrobe since 2004. I asked my mom to order it from a French catalogue with a matching pair of light pink track pants (long gone) when I was in 7th grade. But I was too shy to wear it then, and also the crop tops kinda went out of style - we were all trying to cover up our low rise jeans with longer tops. So I don't think I've worn it even once. Until yesterday, when it finally saw the light of day as a part of a dance class outfit 🤪

Yay, it's quince season! 🍐 I wanted to be polite and asked the neighbour if I could pick the quince on his property like last year. He was appalled I even asked, apparently he decided the quince harvest shall be mine till the end of time 😆 Already made 7 jars of quince butter for Christmas presents 😌 It's divine!

Late autumn is an interesting time. Everything is withering, but there's hopefulness for new beginnings everywhere you look. If I had to describe this feeling in one word, it would be patience. The seeds are all ready, but there's no rush to see them sprout.
