Obv many saas companies are in danger right now but some of them are also smart about it: they offer 3 months free trials of premium subs including ai features and in 3 months you‘re likely more deeply locked in than ever, don‘t want to move again and rather double down paying the full Price.

This makes me think: who can create the coolest, most entertaining clanker frontend? Some unique Features? A New User experience? Basic crypto tools like airdrops to communities you want to tap in?

Literally everyone building with crypto (and prob ai agents too?) has app store approval issues. This is an area where a new social media with relatively easy, instant approval process could shine (ofc by taking on some risk). are context files gonna stay for a while? they seem to be the workaround for better memory similar to blockchain rollups for blockchain scaling, transaction throughput & cheap fees - which should be baked into the base layer ultimately.

it always was and still is about the core team going for growth. the ecosystem has patiently waited, played along, experimented, supported in various ways but at some point you need a lead communicating goals, pushing hard with a core team, and enabling others to swim along, grab a row, paddle in the same direction or even improve boats, accessories, the crew along the way. we've had good moments (arguably there was a good push towards trading first, clanker acquistion) - but no sustained growth effort. 100% confident there's still many that want to see this place win (prob even more if it's not just about trading) and are willing to chip in. it's just not worth to push for a 3rd party (especially on a social) without seeing a core team push hard all day every day to grow the user base and product (whatever direction it is), making it more likely this is in fact the place for xyz to log in daily, build a business on or at least launch it from here..

is the recent app section helpful? anyone spotted a cool app already? I have only clicked on it twice and was a bit overwhelmed seeing random apps. Missing the app categories a bit* *on desktop, not sure what it's like on mobile

Confident it‘s almost always better to enable and reward users rather than penalizing users. Here - Nobody wants to see their follower count go down. - People putting in effort should get Tools to grow (Guides, Discovery, etc.). - Maybe add a profile badge (last active, hyperactive, bot, high quality, expert in xyz) No need to overincentivize either, or You don’t know what pmf is as behavior is bought aka not organic, sustainable.
