Guys I watched Barry Lyndon last week and I can't stop thinking about it. Someone please tell me fun facts or hot takes on it. I didn't know anything about it going in but I didn't expect it to be so funny. Felt like it inspired Wes Anderson.

Shit will go exponential.
You know what computers hate? Rust. You know what causes rust? Oxygen. AI takes over? Boom. No more oxygen. It doesn’t want to kill us. We don’t want to kill ants. But we’ll kill a whole colony on accident and not care. They’re so small, just like we are to AI.”
Cursor has made some UX updates that are really good, but at the same time the output has gotten much worse. Keep getting slop that sounds just good enough for me to waste time trying to understand. Lately I've been shunning my robot friends and rubber ducking the old fashioned ways, and wow it feels good.
I watched Gattaca for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. I have been really excited for faster DNA sequencing and engineering possibilities, but now I'm wondering how do we avoid creating the world of Gattaca?
