This droposal is more than just the official release of the full movie — it's a bridge between the droposal mint culture and the Gnars website, with 80% of all mints going directly to the Gnars treasury, fueling both the culture and the DAO’s funds through more collective-powered actions like this one.
Skateboard as a way of self-discovery
In Brazil, a court represents much more than just a place to play soccer. For us skaters, especially in smaller cities where skateparks were rare, these smooth concrete surfaces became our playgrounds. It was all about building a wooden ledge, gathering friends, and making sure the session happened—giving a new meaning to the so-called "soccer country."
Skating in a small village in Uganda in the middle of Africa was a great privilege I could have, and landing that kickflip on a small dirt slope was one of the most unusual things I did on a skateboard!
skateboard as a way of sel-discovery
It's not always necessary to use an umbrella when it rains—sometimes, it's good to carry one for a possible storm in the future or simply as a tool for balance, a way to hold onto the kindness you carry within you. There's a line in Weather Men that says, "Don't take my kindness as weakness," so maybe the weather forecast is a sign of pessimism, or perhaps it's just a way to find balance in what most people consider good.
But what truly matters is that you keep skating, no matter the weather. And even though my hand may seem like artificial intelligence, through the movement I made, all of this feels very real to me. Skateboard as away of self discovery.
