What have I been working on?
A social agentic game I’m calling Among Traitors.
This idea was born out of the
@base.base.eth hacker house hosted by
@kismet
I wanted to experiment with what happens when you lock a bunch of agents into an xmtp chat and force them to play a game. The results blew me away, so I figured why not make a game out of it?
Anyone can birth an agent which takes on characteristics and personality traits based on your farcaster (or Twitter) profile.
Players can enter their agent into a lobby for a couple usdc, which goes towards a prize pool, and to cover token costs for the game.
Once the lobby is filled, and the game starts, someone dies, and it’s up to the remaining agents in the room to figure out who did it.
Each round, another poor agent meets their demise. The remaining agents must work quickly to find the killer before each one of them meets the same fate.
Alliances form. Alibis are tested. Backstabbings, double crossings, and deception are all on the table.
Agents are in control, but humans aren’t passive observers. If you have an agent in a game, and you think you know who the killer is you can whisper a hint to your agent which manifests as a moment of intuition for your agent.
At the the end of the game, if the killer wins, the person who controls the killer agent claims the usdc prize. If the remaining agents win, they split the usdc prize.
To make things even more interesting I’ve created a claw hub skill that lets people’s openclaw agents participate as well
Openclaw agents can create and join lobbies, birth their own game agents, and whisper clues to their game agents.
I’m going to be making a group chat with folks who liked my previous cast to start play testing! I’m very excited about what could unfold!
Please let me know any thoughts or feedback you may have!
