Gonna leave FC to touch grass for a week. Too much doom on the TL right now and need to focus on my mental health. Might extend my break longer depending on things idk. There are better days ahead my friends. Proactive optimism itself is a form of defiance. Never forget that 💜

After reading some of the casts here regarding vibe coding, I've made the executive decision to try and do my best to learn code so I can build Cadena myself. Vibe coding is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but AI often writes brittle spaghetti code that isn't very sustainable. Cadena is gonna be a long-term project, and I mean a LONG long-term project. I expect this to be my life's work and will probably keep building it till the day I return to the Earth. Planting fig trees I will never rest under. I'm building it because I genuinely believe our world desperately needs it, especially as we witness society rapidly crumble to pieces before our eyes. We will need tools, protocols and interfaces that allow us to construct new systems and institutions. I just want to make sure that what I build is sustainable and maintainable for future generations, and that will require the hard work of learning dev myself. If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do it right. And of course, I plan to make $0 from this. Cadena will always be 100% free, decentralized, and open source. No VCs. That much is non-negotiable.

I've made the decision that I'm done being single, lonely and horny. I need a gf dammit. Made the resolution to start going to social outings more often so I can increase my luck exposure of finding me a woman. Luckily I live in a big city so there's no shortage of opportunities. Any ideas for meeting people that are cheap and affordable? (jsyk I don't drink so bars are off the table)

Man the timeline is super bumming me out rn. We are certainly entering the thick of winter. Still optimistic about FC's future and the world's future but just gonna lock in and keep building for now. That's where I can have the most impact. Working on another awesome project outside of /cadena. Will reveal once it's ready. In the meantime, I'm looking for one more person to interview for cadena. Honestly, props to Anthropic for standing their ground against our extremely corrupt and tyrannical administration. With that said, I'm now worried that either A) Anthropic will eventually be forced to fold or B) The government will simply snuff them from existence. If either of the two were to happen, I'll be switching to a free opens-source AI entirely. Any good recommendations for a replacement? Managed to find a full time job as a handy man at a youth center down the street. Still committed to finding a job/income that's more flexible so I can go back to school. Don't plan to make any money with Cadena directly but do have a few crypto project ideas in the pipeline that could earn some money. Always open to helping with projects or filling in roles that could bring in some cash. My specialty is in UX and customer support but I also do vibe coding. Open to online community management. In the process of breaking up with my FBI agent. Inspired by this post by @farcasteradmin.eth. Been trudging through the fetid swamp that is my Google third party connections so nothing is connected to my gmail. Going to sign up for a full Proton Unlimited subscription, moving over everything else to Proton Drive, and then it's goodbye Google. Got a lot more to do after that. Will need to look into buying a better phone as Galaxy S10+ is a privacy nightmare. Probably need a new phone anyway.
