Where are the 2nd amendment wackos who are so worried about a tyrannic government that they don't mind kindergartners being murdered but are awfully silent when their government actually starts to shoot people in the head?
0sum think: you either get a larger slice of a smaller pie (generally: the right) or a smaller slice of a larger cake (generally: the left).
Can we focus on larger slices of bigger and better pies?
Protip: a "freedom" is never about you. It's about the other guy that you hate.
Freedom of speech does not mean you get to say anything you want; it means that the guy you hate gets to say anything they want.
Freedom of religion does not mean you get to say you love your imaginary friend; it means that guy you hate gets to say they love their imaginary friend.
Freedom of the press does not mean you get the news and opinions you want to read, it means the guy that you hate gets to read the news and opinions they want to read.

I'm old enough to remember when Bitcoin was meant to liberate us from tyrannical governments...
This was before the biggest household name in that space was the sponsor for military parades.
I believe there will be thousands of chains. I also believe most of these chains will want to be "unique" in some way(s). This creates an interesting challenge for the stacks (OP, Orbit, Zksync) where they need to be extremely modular.
Right now we're seeing both "blockchains, not bitcoin" (all the stablecoin activity) and "bitcoin, not blockchains" (all the dollar conversations).
As we've known for a while, we need both of these things to be working *together*.
