I remember learning about Kaizen and thinking what a cool mindset that is to instill in a company’s culture - one of small but continuous improvements - to always iterate and develop processes - so they get better over time. Sitting on your laurels is a not an option, certainly not today - if it ever was.
Yesterday was epic - was not expecting the Scots to beat the English in the Calcutta Cup - the energy in the city afterwards was electric - which of course has resulted in my thoughts this morning being less than coherent - but hey - you don't need clarity when you're basking in the glory of a rare win!
Always thought INX’s Mystify was a great sounding song - yet today I’ve been swapping mystify for synthesize in the chorus - and I’m not sure how I feel about it. It’s like combining two things that shouldn’t work and yet - together - they create something more complex and - yeah - weird.
I don't know - I feel fairly ambiguous about AI generated music - some of it's pretty dope but for most it's novelty - which is cool - but after that initial context wears off - where do we go? I'm hoping that it drives real innovation in what music is - that would be cool - but rehashed versions of hyper personalization will get old pretty quickly

One of the challenges in this divided political environment is the loss of nuance. Leaders attempt to distill positions into binaries and yet the human condition is never that simple. Moving away from closed questioning to a more curious approach of open questioning is going to reveal far more things we have in common than the narrow defining of what divides us.
