The Drifting Refuge
In a world reclaimed by shadows, Linh lives inside a floating, two-story train car a tiny island of warmth in a concrete graveyard. Inside, it’s a dream: fairy lights, hot tea, and soft plushies. Outside, it’s a nightmare.
A pale, hollow-eyed stalker follows just paces behind, its footsteps echoing through the dark subway tunnel. It hungers for the light, but the carriage stays just out of reach, drifting steadily forward.
Linh doesn't look back. She focuses on packing her bag and tending to her small sanctuary. To her, the monster is just a part of the scenery—a reminder that as long as the train keeps moving, she is safe. She travels toward a distant light at the end of the tunnel, carrying her world with her, one rail at a time.
