Today is a day of pain for every Ukrainian. The war has raged for four years now a difficult, debilitating, and unjust one. Every day, blood is shed, destinies are broken, lives are frozen in limbo. Some are forced to flee their homes, some live in constant fear, some fight and defend, sacrificing what is most precious their lives. And for what? For Russia's whims, for empty talk and sham agreements. Therefore, this day is especially difficult for each of us. There is much pain and suffering in the world today, and many nations are experiencing dark times. But only those who bear this pain themselves can understand how difficult it has been for Ukraine to live day after day for four years with pain, fear, hatred, despair, and the uncertainty of tomorrow.
And I sincerely wish everyone peace, goodness, joy, and a peaceful life the life that each of us deserves, for we were born to live.
