This fine art paper print could be yours. PH6, chemical reactions between light-sensitive medium, minerals, natural pigments, rust and acids on paper. Available on SR
First 8 pieces from Alkahest are live on SR! I'll add the rest when I get back from uni.
This collection emerged from my fibres studies and aims to retrace the exploratory research methods of early alchemists, who worked with reactive, corrosive, and chromatic substances, in an attempt to document the fleeting beauty of chemical reactions on paper.
I'll be releasing new work soon from my fibres BFA exploration of rust & natural dyes. This small collection dives into chemical reactions on paper, which was quite challenging to capture at the optimal time as the colors shift quickly.
I've been reflecting a lot on how our fast-paced world conditions us to move so fast we often miss beautiful, short-lived moments. This is a reminder to slow down and be more present.
If any of my collectors would like to reserve a piece, dm me :)
Genuine question, what is the value of the Base app for creatives? I’m really struggling to see the benefits, it seems to have attracted users who assign a very low value to art, even more so than on FC. Am I missing something?
