What matters is the number of products, papers, and tools that are released on each platform.
Having a bunch of developers does not matter. You only need the ones that innovate.
Really close to ditch Cursor and go back to neovim. I never really use the chat feature. Pressing tab and getting a big chunk of code also makes it less fun…
Neovim + Claude/Codex
Thoughts regarding Tempo:
- Enshrined AMM = we have a gas token and you can pay with whatever token you want because we trade it for the gas token through the AMM
- Opt-in privacy = probably though a third party. Don’t expect them to have a fully fleshed out ZK solution from the get-go
- EVM-compatible but not EVM equivalent?
- which AMM will they fork? No partner mentioned for that

Image & Video > Coding market, see ARR of Adobe and budget of blockbusters.
OpenAI and xAI currently competing with Anthropic for coding agents and tools is a huge strategic error and a waste of resources.
Google is making the correct choice by focusing on image, video, and sound, see Nano Banana & Veo 3
"[...] as the number of human beings increase on this planet, we do not tend to pollute the place or deplete the resources and make it all less habitable but rather the opposite. It becomes more habitable, less polluted and resources more numerous and cheap."

We knew since February that o3 and other models will be removed from the interface. I think this decision was made in direct response to all the criticism regarding the model picker in the chat interface. They wanted one single model that does it all so badly https://x.com/sama/status/1889755723078443244?s=46
