The internet had porn.
Bitcoin had Silk Road.
Snapchat had disappearing nudes.
YouTube had pirated clips.
NFTs had cartoon apes.
Every breakthrough starts as a punchline.
But those early use cases proved something deeper:
✅ The rails worked
✅ The protocols scaled
✅ The users showed up
NFTs are now following that same trajectory.
At Rarible, I work with brands building loyalty, rewards, and community.
Most don’t care about NFTs.
They care about portability, CRM integration, and direct user value.
They’re looking for ownership infrastructure.
NFTs just happen to be the right format.
My latest post breaks down:
📼 Why every major tech had a taboo phase
📎 Why NFTs = the .pdf of ownership
🧠 What’s already working (Coachella, DVin, Alvara, Sound)
🚀 What’s coming next: loyalty, credentials, identity, access
You won’t say “I minted an NFT.”
You’ll just say “I have access.”
And the format will be doing the work.

How Stakeholder-Centric Models Are Replacing Product-Centric Strategies: https://bullstern.substack.com/p/web3-gtm-paradigm-from-product-centric
Web3 fundamentally rewrites the relationship between projects and users. Here's why traditional GTM fails in token ecosystems and what successful protocols must do instead 🧵🧵:
I’ve been thinking about creator compensation models for an agentic future. Content isn’t just posts or tracks — it’s an automated business. No middlemen. No guesswork. Just code.
I call it Agent-Mediated Value Capture 🧵🧵
Still working on this model, but it's a start.

Can’t wait for AI assistants to integrate with streaming apps. I’m constantly pausing my podcast (on @OvercastFM) just to spin up a voice convo with ChatGPT.
A lot of times, those chats snowball from micro to macro factors, turning into larger discussions. When the AI already has the context of the podcast, “assisted listening” becomes a game-changer—following up, clarifying, or reinforcing concepts on the fly. I tend to repeat things back to make sure I actually get them, and having an AI that can guide that in real time would be next-level.
