Landed in Bali with the wife and kid at 2:10 PM today. Guess what I did from 2:30 to 4:00? Sat through an induction on how to submit travel requests for a new job. What have I been doing since 8 PM? It’s 9:45 now, and I’m sat in the hotel café, nursing an Americano and lighting a cigarette, watching people relax in the rain. They’re enjoying Bali as an escape from the grind.
