My radish crop is coming in hot! I’m using radishes in my succession planting goals. I'm trying to grow crops throughout the year with only 2-3 months of sadness lol. Radishes do a great job of filling spaces left by harvested crops while I wait for cooler temps. Since they grow fairly quickly my open spaces are not left barren and are not clogged up by a crop that takes a long time to mature. I see pickled radish in my future 👀
ITAP of the Maine sky at night. I was amazed that my iPhone was able to capture the sky with so much detail. Any residual light will not allow for a clear night picture. You can see at the top of the tree, a porch light from a cabin in the distance was casting light barely visible to my eye. I assume if the moon was out this pic would also not be possible. I got lucky!
I can’t take credit for the flowers in the front yard, since my wife claimed that space, but these daisies were a wonderful selection. The back of each pedal also has a purple hue. I think I’m going to steal my wife’s thunder and say I picked them out 😆
I’ve seen a few double rainbows in my day but this one takes the cake. At one point it seemed as if there were 3! Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me because I’m not sure 3+ is even possible. No matter, it was amazing!
My daughter always picks buttercups and holds them under peoples chin's. If the yellow reflects onto their chin then they like butter. So far she has not found anyone who doesn't like butter 😆
Gm Gm,
Homemade buttermilk biscuits, Taylor, and a fried egg. Threw in some berries so I can say I ate something healthy for breakfast. Now to start the day!
Enjoy your weekend!
