How did you get your baby to sleep at night? My 7 month old was doing great before the hurricanes (slept 11-12 hours) but ever since, he’s up every 2-3 hours wanting to be nursed. I’m not sure how to break this sleep association. We were displaced for a while but we’ve been back home for 2 weeks! Suggestions?

We are rebuilding our home after being wrecked by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We lost all our things… but I am amazed by how little we actually need! A reminder that kids just want love… they really don’t need all the stuff. Happy Thanksgiving friends!

My goodness. This baby has had me very busy. And then our home flooded during Hurricane Helene! Life forced me back into offline living. But now our home is about 60% put back together. What have I missed?

Hi ladies - any other new moms out there? This is not my first… but it’s my first singleton (had twins the first time)… and my goodness, the experience is so different!!!

Taken a few days ago, one week postpartum: Oxytocin hitting. Newborn baby smells. Waking every couple hours (or less) to nurse. Discovering new things about me and him. A mama is reborn with every birth. I plan to share more here.

Hey gals - sorry I haven’t been around. Unfortunately, my recovery hasn’t been that great. Just finished my second blood transfusion, and really hoping I’ll get to go home tomorrow! Good news: baby is doing well and is such a joy!!! Side note: Just a couple days of inactivity and my allowance is down to 98. 😭
