We sleep at night not to escape,
but to wake up stronger tomorrow.
Sleep is a rehearsal for beginning again.
And waking up?
It’s a reminder that something is still unfinished,
that there is still something to build,
that there is still a reason to open our eyes.
If we find peace at night,
it’s so that in the morning,
we can face life
with greater courage. ☀️
Last night, I watched the movie Life is Beautiful (La vita è bella).
This film is about World War II and the Holocaust, and it shows that even in the toughest circumstances, life and love are valuable. The story begins with Guido, who, with humor and cleverness, tries to protect his young son from the horrific reality of the camp. The film ends with sacrifice and hope, and its main message is that even in the darkest times, beauty and meaning exist in life, and the value of life must always be preserved.
