It’s amazing to see Dr. Goobie’s message continue to reverberate throughout the medical community. While those in medicine are not surprised by his message, it is great to see more people speaking out in support.
Fun fact: the average number of slices in a CT scan increased from 80 -> 700 from 1999 to 2010. Which means that if you read 50 CT’s a day (ie on a good day) you’re legally held responsible for 35,000 individual images
