we’re still working on some issues on @inflynce i’ll announce once everything is working smoothly

a few clarifications: - payments hasn’t started yet. please read announcement properly - we’re now testing new payout models. once we feel comfortable, we’ll release them. i expect this to take around ~10 days - this is not mandatory. it’s fully opt-in for both campaign owners and creators. if a campaign owner enables this option, campaign won’t appear in ongoing boosts tab - new payout model does not change earning amounts directly. rewards are still pegged to mindshare. however, we designed a new distribution logic to make system fair. if we paid strictly from highest to lowest mindshare, same people would always earn and two sides would lose: - mid and lower mindshare creators wouldn’t earn - founders wouldn’t be satisfied because cost per engagement would become too expensive i also saw comments saying this is a copy of other apps. for context, we built inflynce’s marketing feature last june. before inflynce, there were amps and gigbot. gigbot was too complex (lots of setup) and couldn’t fight bots. amps is not permissionless, new accounts can’t really use it because "og" accounts don’t follow them. after we shipped inflynce, many similar tools appeared. all of them try different or similar approaches. but in all existing tools, creators define their own prices. in our system, prices have been defined by an algorithm from day one also, this isn’t just about inflynce as an app. inflynce is a protocol. mindshare is our core product and it powers: - our internal marketing app, inflynce hub - external apps like tower ecosystem, scored, liqfid, celebration hub and airdrop tools we’re also working on a new app powered by mindshare market might be bearish, but we’ll keep cooking 🫡

building on base for almost a year. previously, i’ve worked with many different projects across different chains and regions and i clearly felt cultural differences between east and west when it comes to building. i haven’t seen a place quite like base. it really aims to be for everyone. at the same time, that doesn’t mean everything has worked perfectly. there have been many experimental efforts where most people already knew outcome would be uncertain, from the beginning. yes, volumes are lower compared to solana. but that also signals there is still meaningful work to do on base side. one important area could be revisiting overall priorities for this year. "focusing on trading" is a broad statement and it might benefit from being more concrete and well-defined. in my opinion, people trade "new" and "speculative" assets. for base, speculative assets should increasingly mean appcoins so far. that implies more apps being shipped on base and stronger, more targeted support for builders from both base and ecosystem. as a flywheel, this makes sense in theory and it can also work in practice, with some adjustments to builder programs. some thoughts for base batch 003 - if it'll happen: - early-stage products should definitely be supported, but without spreading attention too thin. for example, supporting a larger number with smaller checks, such as $5k x 20 - there should be a clear separation between projects that already have a token and those that don't yet, since their needs and required support can differ significantly. - for projects/startups with solid traction, support amounts should be higher than $1k - $5k. for example, $25k x 10 projects would allow selected teams to do something genuinely meaningful, such as hiring an intern or junior developer for 6+ months or marketing. - batch 002 workshops were very valuable. it would be great to see more of them, with a more structured format and fewer "finalists". selecting 50 people doesn’t help much in practice; more focused groups and increased 1-1 time could be more impactful. everyone says we need trenches back, but only a few are willing to build them in practice. i’m betting on builders who think long term here and i’m happy to support as much i can do 🫡 cc @jesse.base.eth

end of authenticity, i guess. maybe it’s time we all should start embracing ai a founder dmed me to test ai tool he’s building. results were crazy… tool analyzes your tweets or anyone you choose, then writes on a given topic while intentionally adding structural imperfections. there’s basically zero chance to tell whether content is written by ai or a human. when checked with other models, it scores no lower than 85/100 they’re now working on next step, images. ai’s biggest weakness is being ‘too perfect’ - so they’re 3d scanning real paintings and training model on imperfections. once you add this layer as 4th dimension, it starts to feel like there’s nothing left that’s distinctly human to differentiate anymore. it’s new era, let’s see how humanity will adapt it.
