when we were on the frontlines back in November, I shared with you all the importance of anti-drone nets (they currently cover more than 100 km of roads near the eastern frontlines, and the same in the south).
I’ve seen smaller russian fpv drones entangled while we were there, but this is a great example of how big drones like Lancet can get caught too while targeting cars on the road. whoever they tried to attack stayed alive just because of that.
these photos were taken near one of the cities we normally go to. every time we drive in those areas, there is a real danger of being blown up by a russian drone on the road, even if you are far enough from the frontline in a clearly marked humanitarian aid vehicle. every single car is a target.
