Today I appreciate:
- My womb: so powerful, I mean she carried & nourished my child for a whole 9 months.
- Eggs: I eat almost all my meals accompanied with eggs. I specifically like sunny side up. Runny yolks are so tasty omg 🔥
- My pillows: for cushioning my head while I sleep
-My neighbor: she brought me food today and took care of baby while I was cramping 🙌 so thoughtful
- Djo- such a talented musician I discovered him thru TikTok and I'm obsessed 👌
And when I'm back in Chicago, I feel it
Another version of me, I was in it
I wave goodbye to the end of beginning 😭🎶
I love this song so much, what a masterpiece!! It makes me feel nostalgic of a place I've never visited. Reminds me that eventually I'll be fine 😭… Djo is a genius and thanks to TikTok for helping me discover this greatness 🙌🙌🔥🔥
Menstrual pains are the worst, I literally cannot do anything while on my periods. It usually feels like my uterus is being torn apart, by hand. Wtf
I thought the pain would subside after childbirth but I'm seeing no changes, being a woman is harrrrrdddd!!! This is the price we have to pay for having a womb what the helllll!!! 😭😭
Good evening guys🤜, I've been in bed the whole day today. I woke up and found I have my periods. I didn't have the energy to do anything today. I just laid in bed and soaked it all in. I hate having to bleed every month. Why does being a woman have to be so brutal? Talk about periods, childbirth, menopause, wtf give us a break!!! 😖
Anyway my neighbor brought me food 🍝 and took care of my baby while i rested. im feeling much better now though grumpy, anyway hope y'all are cool 😘
Hey guys 🤜, I've been busy trying out some baseapp miniapps. I'm compiling a list of the ones I think are cool and useful.
Side note: some miniapps don't even have a guideline of how they work. You have to figure out on your own and I found that stressful. I feel that atleast users should be guided on how to use the apps. Its courtesy. Anyway sharing shortly
Xoxo 💕
Hey fam wanted to share with you "Todii" it's an iconic 1999 song by the legendary Zimbabwean musician Oliver Mtukudzi. The lyrics reflect struggles like the HIV/AIDS crisis devastating Southern Africa at the time , poverty, loss, burying loved ones with bare hands, oppression, and the feeling that problems are overwhelming and out of individual control. It's a powerful call for collective reflection, action, and support rather than despair. Such an inspiration and I also like the beats. Enjoy your listen:
One major challenge with cancer is that it's often detected too late: by the time symptoms appear, it has frequently metastasized (spread) to stage 4, making treatment much harder and reducing survival chances.
Early detection dramatically improves outcomes: studies show that survival rates can be 3–4 times higher when cancer is caught at an early stage, before it spreads. For example, many common cancers have 5-year survival rates over 90% at stage 1, but drop sharply (sometimes to 30%) at stage 4.
My advice: Prioritize regular check-ups and screenings based on your age, family history, and risk factors. Don't wait for symptoms: early testing can catch issues before they become life-threatening, and for some cancers (like cervical, colorectal, or breast), screening can even prevent cancer by finding precancerous changes.
