I just today shared a museletter effectively concluding with perfect words from Joanna Macy. https://www.foxwizard.com/non-zero-influence/
I had a friend tell me she was in the final stages of her life, and I only just now heard that she may have passed. Valē Joanna Macy. Your legacy continues to ripple and resonate.
Also, this podcast conversation with her is deeply touching. It moved me to tears. https://resources.soundstrue.com/we-are-the-great-turning-podcast/
Feeling sad. And grateful. But also a bit sad.
Here’s the latest museletter and episode of kindred spirits. https://www.foxwizard.com/kindred-spirits-e3/ In this one we explore trickster, warmth, glamourie, gramarye, and quickening magics.
Whenever I am on my fourth coffee (I try to stick to 2±1) I almost always start recalling the old Magic: The Gathering concept of “mana burn”—a condition where unspent mana damages you at the end of your turn.
In my latest post I draw attention to the proliferation of paradiastoles.
Once you see them, you can’t unsee them.
It also contains references to shoggoths, orange juice, a *very* weird love making situation, and artificial intelligence.

Hey friends, my nephew is deep into pokemon and is turning five soon. He has already an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of them all. What would be a good gift for such a child? Something that’s not just a plush toy. I would love to know if anyone has any suggestions, thx
I bought my second copy of Elden Ring (first was ps5) so that I could play on the steam deck. Still haven’t completed any souls game yet; always get to the 2/3 mark and then falter. Skill issue (but also adult life issue). I hear bows are better now; has anyone done an archer build and do they recommend?
Ahoy all, good to be here. I have genuine questions and am keen to learn more. I’m currently immersed in https://www.themythicbody.com yet I find myself blocked in somatic practices; I tend to fall prey to intellectual fascination rather than any embodied (let alone devotional) practice. I shall dive deeper here ✨
What to say to my many friends who seem to be starting substacks these days? I am happy for them, but I am vaguely worried for where substack (the platform) is heading. I wish for us all to cultivate independent websites with syndication via sufficiently decentralised protocols. But: power laws are hard to deny.
Hey so I’ve held onto a lot of $DEGEN I bought since late January in the wallet I have linked to this account. But when I go to claim it says
“We couldn't find any rewards linked to your wallet at this time.” –> am I missing something here? Or do we just wait until the end of the month and it’ll appear? thx!
It never ceases to amaze me how typos are so good at hiding in plain sight. Even after proofreading aloud and having Shoggoth cast an eye over it. They only reveal themselves once I hit “publish”.
I recently wrote a post for my main market (executives in enterprise land)—“14 must-reads for those who lead” https://www.foxwizard.com/book-recommendations-for-leaders/ (I’m quite allergic to the word ‘leader’ these days, but it still holds in that context).
You might appreciate some of these reads, too.
“You don't think that Wizards’ candles dribble and gutter so wonderfully well on their own do you? Normal candles all dribble one way - i.e. whichever way the wind's blowing. In order to get that *de rigeur* wizard’s candle look requires a very skilled dribbler indeed.” – terry pratchett, discworld
