We live in a multi-currency world where every community can pick their favorite asset for exchange, for adding value to. I recommended small communities to experiment with their own asset and to use eth as LP pair for more stability & upside; now I‘d still regommend to Experiment with your own asset, adding utility, adding revenue streams and pairing the token to a liquid currency that is somewhat predictable (!), seems undervalued with upside, and has solid fundamentals (good Business, revenue, buybacks..). USDC is the boring Option that might just work in good and Bad times. Eth could be a bit better. Many of the other assets (top rev Assets, ecosystems) have more upside & more execution risk - and it would be best if you were able to react aka change the token pair if circumstances change.
