Farcaster isn’t dead. It’s going through labor pains, and something new is coming out the other side. The difference from an actual birth is that we can still help shape what it becomes.
Here is a list of super simple things we can all do:
Support builders: Use apps, miniapps, clients, agents.. Give constructive feedback. Tell others about the ones you enjoy.
Support communities: Join group chats, channels, meet new people, give and receive support, and participate in conversations you care about.
Support creators: Amplify good content you see on your TL. Support the creators who have helped keep this community alive since the early days and seek out new voices to follow.
Support Farcon: It has become one of our best traditions. We must keep it alive. If you can, go to /farcon-rome or support people who can’t afford to attend. Spread the word, invite others, build at FarHack, turns relationships from URL—>IRL.
There are many more ways to help guide Farcaster toward what we hope for. The most important thing is that we have power and agency.
As for me, Farcaster has changed my life for the better. This is my community, and I’m not giving up on it.
