The wicking bed seems to be doing well and my direct planted crops have mostly started coming in. I also just planted week 3 of lettuce to go into the vertical system. Week 1’s seedlings are starting to show true leaves and we are progressing much as expected!

I’ve been doing a lot of stress doodling lately and decided to try out an “everpen” which claimed to be a pencil with an extremely long life that didn’t need sharpening. I’m pleasantly surprised to report that it actually works. It takes more pressure than a regular pencil but can still be erased and I’ve been doodling for days without needing to sharpen. The colored tips seem a bit softer but even they are way less frustrating than sharpening a pencil every 15-20 minutes.
